Wednesday, January 3, 2007 @ 1/03/2007 05:40:00 PM And it’s back to school again… During holidays, I’m used to sleeping at as ‘early’ as 3 or 4 or even 5am, and waking up only in the afternoon. Last night I went to bed at 2.30am. I thought I won’t be able to sleep but surprisingly I am able to. But there’s something even more surprising… Last night my dad and I agreed that whoever wakes up first shall wake the other person up BY PINCHING ON THE WAIST (and my mum said if she woke up and found that both of us overslept, she shall wake us up by pinching the both of us and she go back to bed again. LOL!). I intend to wake up at 6.10am and him 6.45am so I’m supposed to pinch him. I’m so confident that I will be the one doing the pinching. However, I woke up at 6.40am instead! Of course he woke up earlier than me. And all he did was entering my room, on my lights and I immediately jump up. LOL! So he didn’t get to pinch me =P. Anyway, all these pinching are just joking with one another…I mean I really will pinch my dad but it’s meant to be a joke and he knows how to draw a line between ‘jokes’ and ‘insolence’… Ok jokes aside; back to serious stuff. Today’s enterprise UT was alright as I’m able to answer most of the questions; except for the first question on accounting but it’s only worth 4 marks while the others more so I didn’t give a damn about that. I think Alvin need not worry so much anymore, since his fears didn’t come true. And today’s lesson (also on enterprise – problem 11) was alright too. At first we were a bit lost but towards the end of the day we finally get the gist of today’s lesson – differentiation strategy and competitive advantage… Actually coming back to school wasn’t that bad; I realized I missed the smell of the school, our classroom, and for once the toilet does smell nice… But what I’m dreaded most about coming back to school is going back to the usual lifestyle. During holidays I can have proper meals but now, I’m losing appetite (during lunch) and yet have to force myself to eat again… apart from this were some trivia stuff that I don’t really wish to talk about (not that I don’t want to talk about it but I’m lazy)… Whatever; now we’re “running the last lap” so I can’t afford to waste my time on stuff that makes me unhappy. Seriously speaking, my feeling is I’m “running out of breath” and yet have to keep running. This can kill! LOL! But I know I’m not running the race alone so it will be a letdown if I give up…LOL! Let’s just hope I got the power to run for another 40 days (yes it’s only 40 days to the next holiday)… =) I talked to my science facilitator Yean Yean on Msn earlier and yes, she just gave birth to a girl on 31 Dec 06. LOL! I saw her girl's photo on the display pic - she's cute! LOL! Best wishes to Yean yean... By the way, let me show you something...
