Sunday, January 13, 2008 @ 1/13/2008 03:50:00 AM Hello. I already wanted to type out this post long ago but distractions are everywhere... anyway, I'm here. We made it to the Sheng shiong show today, thanks to pekchoo's extra tickets... Hmm...pekchoo, qianhui, si ni and I went for lunch in Macs in Ang mo kio first... then we went to purchase the food and drinks we wanna give to sam... follow by heading down to Mediacorp... Think we reached there too early... Argh whatever it is; after the long wait, sam finally have time to meet us at the radio gate...after some hesitations, we passed him presents, letters, messages... as well as take pictures and of course chit chat! Please refer to yiwen's blog for the details... Yup...managed to help xiaohong get Sam's autograph...more than that actually, =X... Shit, I was too shy to ask for his autograph for myself...but thanks si ni, binz and yiwen for the AMAZING idea ya? They helped me to request for his autograph (plus greetings), which shall be one of the best birthday present of the year... =)... Hmm...something amiss was sensed... =X... Sam asked if we really enjoyed the show...to be honest, the show is fun but in case you don't know, I'm actually following another ongoing drama on Channel U at the same time. So my existence at Sheng Shiong Show LIVE would mean I actually missed quite a few episodes, which I don't mind if it's for HIM ;)...anyway I already have a rough idea of the story from reading the synopses online. Yup, back to the topic on Sheng Shiong show. As usual, we had fun =). The judges of the singing contest settled down...then sam saw us sitting at the side so and we saw him, so we waved to him...Eric Ng and Ngak saw us too, so we waved to them too (Eric Ng is a cute famous local songwriter)... The contestants all performed well. Someone won more than 8K in a game. The guest performers of the show...cool man! Yes he's Ngak, or more affectionately known as 黄星魁, plus his band who called themselves "ang mo pai"... they performed the theme song for this year's speak good mandarin campaign... It's a very rock song that got yiwen and I real high...LOL! Anyway I think that song got a very meaningful meaning behind - he has been speaking English all these years; but from now on he will challenge himself in picking up Mandarin... I happened to find this video on youtube - they performed the same song somewhere else... Oh well, soon it was time to leave, cos the show ended! LOL! We went back to radio gate to wait for Sam, chatted a while before bidding goodbye as he was about to leave... Oh yes, Ngak was there too, so we took pictures with him. Nice guy ;). Wish him all the best in mastering Mandarin... Ok I took too long to type. Before I go, thanks yiwen for sending me this,  hmm...LOL!The picture taken with Ngak, I'll post it up again once I received from pekchoo... sometimes we should just hear both sides of the story instead of assuming things... please bear in mind that you are not alone... (both sentences are in no direct relation with each other)... |
