Tuesday, September 9, 2008 @ 9/09/2008 04:45:00 PM Soooo.... Time flies. First week of semester 1 has passed. The irony about tomorrow is that, it will be the beginning of 2nd week BUT also, the last day of school week~~ And there won't be make-up FYP session for me on Thursday...so this meant, I NEED NOT WAKE UP EARLY~~~ HOORAY! *Begin anti-climax* However, there will be @loud meeting this Thursday...and off to work~~ Of course I'll be looking forward to @loud meeting as I missed the @louders...HOWEVER, imagine having to come back for 1/2 to 1 hour on your supposingly free day? Arghhh~~~ It's ok. I shan't think too much =). Back to the point; so I've met all my classmates in the three classes already. W55C for biomedical sciences - quite alright as I'll be seeing some familiar faces such as yu ki, ariel, maki... But -_-, those new friends are really conscientious in their work. ARGH I mustn't slack~~ W54R for Applied chem 2 - The whole class are year2's while I'm the only extra one from year3. We did Organic chemistry that day and thanks to this team mate Reuel, I managed to refresh a bit of my memories. BUT I STILL CAN'T DRAW THE CHEMICAL STRUCTURE~~~ =( W55D for Bioinformatics - For this class, there's only 15 of us. And guess what? Only me and Chen Ai are the non-IPBMS students. The rest of them are from the IPBMS. To fill my non-RP friends in, here's some info about IPBMS. The International Programme in Biomedical Sciences (IPBMS) is the result of a collaborative effort between Republic Polytechnic and the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Monash University, Australia. It offers polytechnic students in the field of biomedical sciences an additional pathway to gain a degree. -_-!!! Actually, other than worrying about catching up with them, I don't think it should be an issue for stoopig ones like me to learn with smart ones. After all, I still got to learn no matter what. My main concern is background from genomics and proteomics is needed in this module and guess what, I didn't take proteomics last semester and you should know how I hate genomics. But like what I told Isaac earlier; since I already walked into the hell, I should just continue the journey with dignity. Meaning: it's either do or die. But he asked, hell already equals to death? Then I answered, it will be good if I could walk out of hell; but if I didn't, GET READY FOR MY FUNERAL ALRIGHT? hahahahahhahaha. That's aside... The Days (2008)
Guess what? I really wanted to watch this movie and I already told Yeo ah cheh, lets go watch together with my staff pass if Eng wah will be screening. BUT TO MY GIGANTIC DISMAY, ENG WAH WON'T BE SCREENING!! WHAT IS THIS?!?!?!?!?! The only new movie that will premiere in eng wah sun plaza tomorrow is Babylon A.D.... I wanna catch Death race with Isaac but I don't think there's suitable timing...we'll see how again ah~ Then end of the month I'll probably be catching Mama mia with Tan ah ni... How about Kallang Roar? Don't forget there's still Meet Dave too.... Bangkok Dangerous looked interesting though it will only be screening in Westmall? hmmmm... LOL... haiz.... |
